Introduction

Vusion Technologies LLC (together, with its affiliates, "Company", "we" or "us") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you install or use the PlayMe™ Application (the "Application") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect from the Application, and form any e-mail, text and other electronic messages between you and the Company. The policy does not apply to information collected by us offline.


Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Application. By installing or using the Application, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Application after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates in the Privacy Policy section of the Application.

 

Children Under the Age of 13

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information through or using the Application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information through or using the Application. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at admin@playmesocial.com.

 

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

When you create a PlayMe account, you must provide access credentials either in the form of a phone number and password. You may optionally provide us with additional profile information, including a profile picture. If you create your PlayMe account by connecting through another service, we may use public information from that connected account to help complete your PlayMe profile. You may update or modify your profile information and contact information at any time. Profile information is available publicly on the Application, such as on your profile page (phone number is only seen by you). In addition to using your contact information to create your account, we may use this information to send you information about the Application, respond to your requests and facilitate your use of the Application.

 

You may also provide us with information to verify your identity in order to play cash games. This includes, but is not limited to, full name, birthday, citizenship, email address, home address, and IP address. This information will be held on file, but not made publicly. We reserve the right to periodically check your identity, location, and transactions in order to comply with Know-Your-Customer & Anti-Money Laundering laws, as well as check any OFAC or watch lists in order to comply with any state or federal regulations.

 

PlayMe is a competitive content sharing platform, so most of the information you provide us is information that you choose to be made public. This includes the content (photos, videos, etc.) that you post and data provided with such content, such as when it was posted, but also the accounts you follow, the content that you challenge or comment on, and other public interactions on the Application. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated. For instance, your profile information and public content are immediately delivered to a wide range of users and other services that access the Application.

 

Information We Collect through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. If your account is created through other services (e.g. Facebook), we may pull your public information from said service (e.g. friends list).


Disclosure of Your Information

1. We may disclose user provided and automatically collected Information: 2. As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; 3. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; 4. With our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement. 5. If Vusion Technologies LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets (although we will endeavor to notify you of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information). 6. To advertisers and third-party advertising networks and analytics companies as described in the section below. 

 

Third-party Use of Tracking Technologies

We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the Application is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We work with advertisers and third-party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the Application which helps us keep the cost of the Application low. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Application, including, but not limited to, the unique identification ID of your mobile device and your mobile telephone number. To protect the anonymity of this information, we use encryption technology to help ensure that these third parties can’t identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your zip code), and other non-precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere. We may also share encrypted versions of information you have provided in order to enable our partners to append other available information about you for analysis or advertising related use.

 

Data Retention Policy

We will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain automatically collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete user-provided data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at admin@playmesocial.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or the entire user-provided data might be required in order for the Application to function properly. We also have no control over user-provided data once it has been downloaded or accessed by other users of the Application in accordance with the Terms of Use.

 

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy in the Privacy Policy section of the Application. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for periodically visiting this privacy policy page to check for any changes.
